Tiger lounging on the back deck in the summer of 2007. Note the deep lines of thought upon his brow as he contemplates capturing another sparrow and ripping its head off.

Buddha, with a tiny gold triangle at the top of her head, has joined our menagerie. She is young, frisky and bites and scratches a lot. Tiger hisses at her. She hisses back. It must be love. Welcome, Buddha!

Buddha likes crawling into things -- baskets, bags, sacks -- and sleeping there after stirring things around a while. I also often catch her exploring the space behind the books on my shelves.
